About Cecilia Brizuela

Cecilia Brizuela is a filmmaker, Platinum songwriter, conceptual artist, showrunner, and communications leader whose work spans film, music, television, and documentary media. Her career is defined by one throughline: building cultural narrative through sound, image, and story—together.

Cultural strategy, artist development, and movement-building

As Head of Marketing & Promotions at Brizz Productions in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Cecilia was hired to help break major-label artists and singles through street teamsclub play, and direct tastemaker outreach, connecting music to DJs, magazines, radio, and live culture at a time when real-world traction mattered more than metrics.

This work helped shape the era that became Latin Remixes and supported the rise of Regional Urbano. (link to Legacy)

Creative Partnership

Cecilia Brizuela’s work often intersects with long-form cultural documentation and media projects developed in collaboration with Byron Brizuela and Brizz Productions, including archival storytelling connected to Latin Music Collective.

These collaborations reflect shared cultural stewardship while maintaining distinct creative voices and independent practices.
