Legacy
Latin Remixes, Regional Urbano, and cultural documentation
Cecilia Brizuela’s legacy includes the behind-the-scenes leadership that helped music move—from street culture to mainstream platforms—through marketing strategy, artist management, visual direction, and television storytelling.
Latin Remixes & Street Promotions
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Cecilia led Brizz Productions’ marketing and promotions efforts—building street teams, breaking records in clubs, and connecting releases directly to tastemakers in the DJ and nightlife ecosystem.
This era helped define how remixes functioned as cultural strategy—extending records into clubs, radio mix shows, and multi-market crossover channels.
Regional Urbano Movement
Cecilia managed artists including Jae-P, Flakes, and David Rolas, leading press tours, radio interviews, television interviews, and label meetings—helping articulate the vision for a movement that blended Mexican regional identity with urban rhythm and storytelling.
This ecosystem later produced major-label signings (including Jae-P and David Rolas).
Strictly Raza
Cecilia served as Showrunner & Co-Creator of Strictly Raza, bringing conceptual and visual direction to a pioneering music-and-culture series developed in collaboration with LATV, featuring interviews and performances connected to Urban Regional and West Coast Latin movements.Â
